Computing
At St George’s, our vision, “Wonderfully made, inspired to shape the world,” is rooted in Psalm 139:14: "I will praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." This belief in the uniqueness of every individual guides us in nurturing each child's talents and aspirations.
We follow the Teach Computing curriculum as a core part of our computing provision, delivering engaging and interactive learning experiences that encourage children to explore the digital world with curiosity and confidence. Computing is taught throughout the year, enabling children to build their knowledge and skills progressively through a range of creative and practical activities.
Using the Teach Computing framework, we ensure that our children develop essential digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills. By engaging with technology in meaningful ways, we aim to inspire confident, capable learners who are ready to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
